Miracles
June 23, 2008
In the last month God has been in the business of performing miracles for my wife and I. When we made the decision that we both felt the Lord lead us to make and come to Cheyenne we knew that the Lord would do awesome things but it has been neat to see the different things that have happened.
Miracle #1:
Grant and Terri Clark are two of the coolest people I know. They opened their house to us for as long as we needed a place to stay. So when I moved up before Aubrey with all of our stuff I had a place to stay without having to pay for rent right away. Not only did they do this, but they allowed us to store all of our belongings in their garage, we had it packed full. This was an incredible blessing for us, it saved an entire months rent, utilities, and the cost of a storage unit, plus they were really fun to live with.
Miracle #2:
I need to find a full time job that would pay the bills but work with my schedule at Element. After looking around, turning down several good job offers, God gave me the perfect job. I got hired at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center as an Order-filler. I work Tuesday – Friday 4:30 am to 3:00 pm. So not only do I have every weekend off but every evening off. PRAISE THE LORD! This could not be a better schedule to work with the church.
Miracle #3:
My wife Got here! I was just so excited, after about 3 weeks, to see my wife. I know it wasn’t a long time but still i was ready for her to be here and I am so thankful she is here now.
Miracle #4:
Aubrey was waiting on one last paycheck from Aldi Grocery store, where she worked in Oklahoma. She specifically prayed that it would be $900.00. The thing is, we were expecting her check to be around $600.00. Sure enough, when her last paycheck got to us here in Cheyenne it was $902.00. WOW! I know that boosted Aubrey’s faith in God answering her prayers.
Miracle #5:
We prayed before we came that I would have a job that payed enough for Aubrey to be able to take time and find a job that she really likes. We are able to do that. But that’s not all, she received a temporary job where she can earn income while looking for a great job in the next month or so.
So to wrap it all up, God is in the business of doing great things through his people. If we are faithful where God calls us to go He will provide. Aubrey and I are so thankful for that.
